The top repeater is a Yeasu DR-2X. It can operate in analog FM or C4FM digital modes auto switching between the two. It's frequency is 443.875. The bottom repeater is the 147.03 machine which is the club's main repeater.

The top device is the Voter for the 146.70 ARES repeater. The voter analyzes signals from multiple receive sites, determine which is the best signal, and forwards that on to be transmitted. The lower device is the receiver pre-amp for the 147.03 repeater (receiving on 147.63). The pre-amp improves the incoming signal before transmitting it on the output frequency.

The exciter sits between the transmitter and the amplifier. It allows the transmitter to operate at a lower power output which is then amplified by the pa amplifier.

The power amplifier get the signal from the exciter. It increase the power of the signal before it is transmitted. The output signal power is approximately 100 watts.

The duplex is needed to ensure the transmit and receive on the repeater do not interfere with each other. The photo shows two sets of duplexers, one in the front and a second in the rear.

This is a Yeasu Fusion repeater that is a part of the Ohio Link Network. It is dedicated to this digital statewide network.
