Description
The top device is the Voter for the 146.70 ARES repeater. The voter analyzes signals from multiple receive sites, determine which is the best signal, and forwards that on to be transmitted.
The lower device is the receiver pre-amp for the 147.03 repeater (receiving on 147.63). The pre-amp improves the incoming signal before transmitting it on the output frequency.
Description
This photo shows the S-Comm controller at the top, expanders in the middle, and link radios to other remote sites.
The controller is connected to the 147.03, 146.70, and 443.875 repeaters. It allows for voice identification, net states, and automated messages such as a weekly reminder of the 2 meter net.
The expanders are used to improve the quality of the audio on both the 147.03 and 146.70 repeaters.
